I’m thrilled to share that I’ve officially earned my certification as a Family Dog Mediator! 🐾✨ This journey has been incredibly rewarding, and I couldn’t have done it without the support of my amazing pups, Phoebe and Scout.
Scout, in particular, has been my enthusiastic partner, always curious about the clicker in my hand and ready for our next training session. Both my girls absolutely LOVE our short daily training sessions – it’s their favorite part of the day! ❤️
But the journey doesn’t stop here. I’m currently working towards becoming a Certified Canine Behavior Counselor, and I can’t wait to deepen my knowledge and skills even further to help more families and their furry friends.
Thank you all for your support and encouragement. Here’s to more learning, more tail wags, and more happy, courteous pups! 🐶💕

Cut up my favorite old yoga mat to use as portable “place” mats for the girls when we go out. What a great idea this is (not mine, but I can’t remember where I read about it). They LOVE each having their own spot, though as usual, Scout likes to invite herself over to her sister’s square 🙄
Their dad practiced “place” with them today too. So much fun to have everyone do a bit of practice everyday. It builds your pup’s bond with all the people in the house.

Flashback to 2020 when stairs became necessary for Phoebe. She stopped wanting to jump up on furniture. Since we are one big cuddly family, that wasn’t ok with us. So now we have these amazing @bestpetinc stairs in almost every room.
It took no time at all to lure train the girls and now they use the stairs all the time. After four years, they look like we just took them out of the package.
If you have small dogs, get stairs. Don’t risk an injury to their backs or joints. This is NOT a sponsored post- we just love this product and this company and wanted to share. I’ve posted something like this before, but it bears repeating: waiting at the vet is the IDEAL time to engage in some easy practice with high value treats!
If we get off our phones (well, ok, yes, I DID video this 😆) and engage our pups in a great distraction environment, we can reduce their anxiety immensely.
The girls now think the vet is just an extension of their world, where mostly good things happen, and sometimes some human pinches or pulls, but always says sorry. And it’s all good, because mom feeds them really good stuff.
We love our vet @hillandharbourveterinarycenter and we love how much they partner with us in Phoebe and Scout’s care.
